Mythicist Milwaukee Sponsors Muslim American Leadership Alliance Fundraiser

Mythicist Milwaukee (MM) was a proud sponsor of the Muslim-American Leadership Alliance (MALA) Fundraiser in Chicago this week. At the event, MALA recognized nine community leaders with the President's Volunteer Service Award for their dedication, contribution, and commitment to volunteerism. This prestigious recognition is a civil award bestowed by the President of the United States, Barack Obama, celebrating the impact we can all make in bettering our communities and our world. Funds raised at the event benefit MALA's scholarship program - meant to empower a new generation of leaders by helping them to further their education.

MALA is a civic & community organization committed to promoting individual freedom, diversity, and celebrating heritage. They provide a platform for Muslim-Americans to share their stories, nurture emerging community leaders, and unite Americans of all backgrounds to advance constructive solutions to extremism and human rights abuses. In fact, MALA's founder, Zainab Zeb, is a 2016 UNICEF Chicago Humanitarian Service Award recipient - living their values through-and-through.

At MM, we're proud to promote furthering the education of youth. With higher education, students advance their abilities to have rational, intelligent conversations, and to understand commonalities between cultures and religions - narrowing divides and inherent bigotry.

Mythicist Milwaukee proudly sponsoring MALA alongside the likes of UN Women, DonorsChoose.org, Chicago Leadership Alliance, Global Giving, Loyola University, Arab American National Museum, MALALA Fund, United Coalition for Reason, Morgan Stanley Foundation, Unicef and more.
